This widget has for purpose to set the coordinate system to be used in the simulation. Four choices are available:
- 3D
- 2D cartesian
- 2D axisymetrical (with OX as rotation axis)
- 2D axisymetrical (with OY as rotation axis)
This main option will induce many changes throughout the graphical interface to help users to set the necessary parameters (and only them).
To be exact, one underlines that cases using the 2D axi option
have to be axysimetrical both regarding the geometry but also the boundary conditions.
Of course, meshes provided by users have to be coherent with the retained option:
- For conduction, they have to be composed of four nodes tetraedra for 3D option, and 3 nodes triangles for the 2D option
- For radiation (if activated), they have to be composed of 3 nodes triangles (In 3D space) for 3D option, and two nodes segment for 2D cases
